Custom Reticles

Hypershot lets you customize your capture reticle — the crosshairs you see when selecting a region.

Available Styles​

Simple​

A clean, minimal crosshair. No-nonsense and professional.

Glass​

A frosted glass effect that subtly highlights your selection area while keeping the screen visible.

Rainbow 🌈​

Life's too short for boring crosshairs. Add some color to your capture experience!

Changing Your Reticle​

  1. Open Hypershot preferences (⌘ + ,)
  2. Navigate to the Capture tab
  3. Select your preferred reticle style

Why Custom Reticles?​

We believe tools should be delightful to use. Custom reticles don't change what you capture — but they make the experience more you.

It's a small touch that shows we care about every pixel of your workflow.
